Capacity Building is one of the key components under National SC ST Hub (NSSH) Scheme. To help SC-ST entrepreneurs increase their capabilities, skill and enhance their participation in the public procurement, fully sponsored skill and entrepreneurship development training programs are organized under the NSSH scheme for the existing and aspiring SC-ST entrepreneurs through various government/autonomous institutions across the country.
The primary objective of these training programs is to bridge the existing skill gap, increase the technical as well as managerial capabilities of the entrepreneurs and develop entrepreneurship among target beneficiaries to enhance their participation in the public procurement process. The trainings imparted under NSSH scheme are free of cost and offers residential as well as the non-residential trainings in both NSQF compliant (as per Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship) and non-NSQF market relevant training programs (of the institutions under O/o DC-MSME).
These training programs have been conducted through more than 50 different institutions including various Tool Rooms of Ministry of MSME, EDII-Ahmedabad, RSETIs, CIPET, NSIC Technology Centre, etc. Major sectors covered includes Electronics & Hardware, Handicrafts & Carpet, Capital Goods & Manufacturing, Textile, Food Industry, etc.
