NSSH Hub Structure

The Hub operates out of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) headquartered in Delhi, supported by a special cell created for this purpose.Three committees have been formulated that help in the functioning of the Hub:

High Powered Monitoring Committee

HPMC is chaired by the Minister of MSME with Minister/s of State (MSME) as co-chair. The committee monitors the overall activities of the Hub at the highest level and have the power to decide about any addition of new activities/ functions for the Hub. The committee members are representatives of various stakeholders including States, various Ministries, Industry associations & SC/ST entrepreneurs.

Advisory Committee

Advisory Committee is chaired by representative of Industry Associations. Currently, the Chairperson of this committee is Sh. Milind Kamble, Chairman, DICCI (Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry). This committee works directly under the High-Powered Monitoring Committee. The Committee advises the hub about new interventions which can be included for providing entrepreneurial support to SC/ST entrepreneurs. It brings the industry and SC/ST entrepreneurs’ perspective to the Hub with\ the purpose of developing an effective, mutually beneficial relationship between the target group and the government.

Project Screening Committee (PSC)

Joint Secretary (SME/NSSH) is the chairperson of the committee. The committee have representatives from IFW, 0/o DC(MSME), KVIC, Coir Board, NSIC, and NSSH Cell. The Committee oversees the implementation of National SC-ST Hub scheme, is responsible for formulation of the annual action plan of the scheme, consideration/approval of the proposals received for financial assistance under all sub- components of the scheme, and various other scheme related activities.
